Anjelica recently spoke to the World Health Organization (WHO) about her starup company PremieBreathe!
PremieBreathe is a low-cost infant respirator that delivers warmed, humidified, and oxygenated air to reduce airway irritation and keep infants breathing normally.
At the WHO Global Health Forum which was held in Geneva, Switzerland, Gonzalez highlighted the challenges needed to overcome to ensure not just the implementation of this device, but the long-term success in low- and middle- income countries”.
Gonzalez has established collaborations with clinics in Ethiopia and highlighted that the next steps to take once PremieBreathe is established in Ethiopia is to move to other low- and middle-income countries such as Uganda and Malawi.
